Let’s talk diamonds.
For years, the debate has been real vs. lab-grown , and in 2025, the verdict is pretty much in. Experts admit they can’t tell the difference. Only the purists (or the people with an agenda) will argue otherwise.
Now, don’t get me wrong: if you’re sentimental and want the diamond that spent thousands of years under pressure before landing on your finger, go for it. That stone has survived eons and will surely survive the ups and downs of marriage.
Skip to most women today? We care about the sparkle, and maybe the size. If I can get a 2–3 carat stunner without my fiancé taking out a second mortgage, why would I care if it was grown in a lab?
Here’s where things get exciting. Quince just threw the diamond world a curveball. They launched a line of lab-grown diamonds that undercut even big players like Blue Nile and Brilliant Earth.
Yes, you’re limited to their curated styles, and no, you can’t design every detail from scratch. But at their price points? It feels like they’ve flipped the jewelry industry on its head.
Quince has already built its reputation on high-quality basics at shockingly good prices, but this? This feels like their boldest move yet. I can’t stop wondering what’s next. Bigger diamonds? More custom options? A full bridal line? Whatever it is, Quince keeps surprising us in the best way.
For now, I’ll just say: size matters (at least when it comes to diamonds). Thanks to Quince, more of us might finally get the ring we’ve been dreaming of, without the crushing price tag. Tell the boyfriends, spread the word!!!
